Many people are under the impression that the human body burns food for energy. Not true. The human body doesn’t burn anything. The human body doesn’t need an indiscernible mass of calories—calories are just a tool of measurement.

Nutrients are needed to build or repair every cell in the body.

When people want to lose weight, they tend to think, I want the food with the least calories. A more successful approach is to think, I want the food with the most nutrients per calorie!
